At the Huan Tie Art Museum in Beijing
The 2008 Common Ground Collection will premier in Beijing at the Huan Tie Art Museum. The opening reception will include works from renowned artists from over 40 countries, a special selection of 20 gifted Chinese artists, and screenings of several innovative films, all with works focused on the environment.
The "Host City" Chinese Artist Collection
The Chinese Collection of the Common Ground art has been being curated by a team led by Duan Jia, Professor at the Beijing Film Academy, and Clayton Spada, world renowned artist, photographer, curator, and frequent lecturer at Tshingua University in Beijing. These 20 Chinese artists have been selected to represent their "Host" country for the premier of the Common Ground Collection in 2008.
A Commemorative Limited Edition Book sponsored by HP (Hewlett Packard) and A & I
A worldwide printing of 250 hardcover books, each one numbered and certified from this collection, has been published with the support of HP and A&I Digital Services. All the proceeds from the book will be donated to our Non-Profit Sponsors, The World Wildlife Fund, Global Giving, and the Global Environmental Institute.
